About the Owner

Laura Helvey is a wife and a mother of 2 living in rural Farmington Missouri. In her
younger years, Laura traveled to most of Europe and much of the United States.
She Studied Medicine and Foreign Languages (German, Spanish and French -
fluent in French and Spanish) in college and decided to study sales in order to stay
closer to her family, and later, her children. She founded JLAD (parent company) in
January of 1999 and later opened The Baby Company store. Later she designed
and launched Angelbabybedding.com in October of 2005. Since 2005 Angel Baby
Bedding has more that quadrupled in sales, and revenue. Within 3 months of the
launch date, Angelbabybedding.com was ranking on the top 10 Baby Store
Websites on the internet.

Laura's Mission Statement:

"It is not my plan to become a millionaire on baby bedding and juvenile goods. I
offer great products at discount pricing, for a reason. I like people, I enjoy doing
good for people and giving people a break. It can be expensive and stressful
when decorating a nursery and to many women decorating their nursery is almost
the same as designing their wedding. They want nice things and do not want to
take out a loan to get them. That is why I am here. I will continue to compete with
the conglomerate companies, and I will continue to succeed."

Laura oversees all aspects of the business including - Orders, Sales, Marketing,
Web Design, Shipping, Packaging, Accounting, Inventory, Stocking, Customer
E-Mails, Search Engine Optimization and more.
